| Slice some onion (1/2 med-ish). Add 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Add 3 Tablespoons soy sauce. (add more for larger families/groups) |
| Minced garlic. 1 teaspoon/1 clove
|
| Mix it all up. Cover. Marinate in fridge for at least an hour. (I usually do about 3-4) |
| When you're ready to start cooking fry up the chicken, single layer, in a skillet. I use coconut oil. Use whatever you like. Flip the chicken once during cooking. |
| Fry up your onion separately. In the same pan, after you finish the chicken. And then mix them in with the chicken in a dish/bowl. |
| Sometime during this, wash your Romain lettuce. Enough for everyone to have several wraps. |
| Cook up some rice. Enough that would be a usual side dish for your family/group. |
| To eat this yummy goodness, get your lettuce, a bed of rice, add some chicken & onions, wrap it up and ENJOY!! |

Hey Jessi - this sounds so yummy and we will try it this week. This is real similar to InYoung's "Bulgogi" .. and here's a recipe for that http://www.food.com/recipe/bulgogi-korean-barbecued-beef-lettuce-wraps-14339 I am thinking I love lettuce wraps! Thanks for sharing!! p.s. I need to try and find some coconut oil - sure did enjoy cooking with it at your home.
It is super yummy! And yes, it's pretty much that recipe. I adapted the recipe you gave me of InYoung's when I didn't have everything on hand and it taste almost the same! Chicken is a cheaper way to go for us and I don't have to hammer it out!
